Here are the terms and conditions which will apply to your entry. Please read them carefully as they contain important information you need to know!
1. easyJet Airline Company Limited, Hangar 89, London Luton Airport, LU2 9PF (“easyJet”) is the promoter of the competition and prize.
2. This competition is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over, except if you (or your immediate family) are employees of easyJet or its affiliated companies.
3. The competition will run from 9am Monday 28th March 2022 to 11:59pm Sunday 10th April 2022 (the “Competition Period”). Entries must be received before the closing date at 11:59pm on Sunday 10th April 2022 (the “Closing Date”). By submitting an entry, you are accepting these terms and conditions.
4. easyJet reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of an anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the easyJet’s control. Any changes to the competition will be published on easyJet’s official Instagram page (@easyjet) and on this page.
5. These terms are governed by the laws of England and shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
6. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to easyJet and not to Instagram, and you completely release Instagram from any claims in relation to this competition.
How to enter and prize details
7. easyJet will be posting a total of 5 competition-related posts on our feed that will contain an image of a golden egg (this can be a photo or a video) (“Competition Post”) during the Competition Period on the official Instagram account (@easyjet). The caption of each Competition Post will clearly specify that the post is part of the competition.
8. To enter, all you need to do is comment on a Competition Post explaining where the image of the golden egg is on that Competition Post. You can enter as many of the Competition Posts as you like but only one entry per account per Competition Post will be counted. If more than one entry per account per Competition Post is made, only your first entry will be counted.
9. Your entry is received at the time easyJet receives your comment on Instagram. Incomplete, invalid or incorrect entries or entries received after the Closing Date will not be accepted or counted. easyJet also reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct.
10. The prize consists of: one return flight per Competition Post (five in total across the five Competition Posts) with a retail value of up to £500 (inclusive of airport taxes) with one small cabin bag (max 45x36x20cm), extra legroom seats and a large cabin bag (max 56 x 45 x 25cm) at no extra cost.
11. The flight is to be booked by contacting social@easyjet.com and detailing the flight details chosen by the winner. Flight prices, location and dates are subject to availability and any travel restrictions.
How is the winner chosen?
12. The winner of each Competition Post will be selected at random from all eligible entries by a random generator. The random draw will happen on Monday 11th April 2022 drawing a winner from the eligible comments of each of the Competition Posts. No correspondence will be entered into.
13. We’ll give the winners the good news by tagging them in the comment section of the respective post they have won along with a direct message. If you wish to know the winners’ details, you can send an email to Social@easyjet.com (including the name of the promotion) within 3 months of the end of the Competition Period, and to the extent we are able to, we’ll respond and tell you the surname, county and winning entry of the winner.
14. If you are the winner and do not wish us to share this information, you may opt out of this when accepting your prize. However easyJet reserves the right to disclose your details to the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority if requested to do so.
If you do win
15. We will tag you on the comments of the respective Competition Post you have won and send you a direct message to confirm the win along with instructions on how to redeem your prize. You must contact us using the details provided and accept the prize by 24th April 2022.
16. If you haven’t contacted us and accepted the prize by 24th April 2022, another eligible entry will be randomly drawn from the original Competition Post and declared the winner.
17. We may ask you to provide proof of identity, residency and age, so that we are sure you are who you say you are and are eligible to receive the prize.
18. You can’t exchange the prize for cash, or ask us to give it to someone else (not that you’d want to!). We will use reasonable efforts to award the prize as described but if due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to do that, we’ll substitute it for another prize of equal or higher value.
19. You’ll be responsible for any insurance and any other expenses, fees and costs connected with the use of the prize that are not included in the prize description.
20. If, in order to take the prize, you are lucky enough to need a valid passport and/or other necessary travel documentation and visas, you’ll need to sort those out for yourself.
21. You are responsible for your use of the prize. Of course, if you win a prize, you’ll be good and comply with all relevant laws, rules and regulations.

23. The nature of the prize may be such that it poses health or safety risks, or risks normally associated with travel to you. You should consider any health, safety and travel risks and take appropriate precautions (including arrange insurances) to guard against those risks.
What happens to my entry?
24. easyJet will only use the personal information provided to us during the course of this promotion to conduct the promotion and award the prize. If you win a prize, easyJet can use your Instagram username for future marketing purposes unless you tell us not to.
