easyJet, the UK’s largest airline, has today added a further five routes to its flight schedule making 190,000 more seats available for its passengers.
The new routes will take off from 17 October 2013 and are available to book now at easyJet.com.
The schedule additions include a new route to the Romanian capital Bucharest, Larnaca in Cyprus, Venice, Lyon and Tenerife. The routes will fly from across easyJet’s UK bases including London Gatwick, London Luton, Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle.

“We’ve already carried nearly 34 million passengers from across our network of 11 UK bases in the past year and we are hugely excited to be in a position to expand our destinations further to offer more choice to our customers this winter.
“Bucharest marks an exciting addition to the easyJet flight schedule and all routes are destinations our customers tell us they want to visit so we expect them to be popular choices. We would advise passengers to book quickly to avoid disappointment.”
easyJet has will operate its Bucharest route from London Gatwick Airport with fares from as little as £37.49*. It will fly four times a week from 17 October 2013 to the capital city, previously known as ‘Little Paris’. Bucharest is home to the second largest building in the world, the Parliament Palace and the Arcul de Triumf, modelled after the Parisian Arc de Triomphe.
easyJet will fly to Larnaca from Liverpool John Lennon Airport twice a week from 2 November 2013 with prices starting from £33.49*. Larnaca is the oldest city on the beautiful island of Cyprus and home to the Larnaca Salt Lake which attracts flocks of pink flamingos each winter.
easyJet’s newest route from London Luton Airport to one of the world’s most romantic cities - Venice will launch just in time for Valentine’s Day on 13 February 2014 and flights will be available four times a week with prices starting from £33.49*.
easyJet will operate a new route to Lyon, east-central France from Manchester Airport from 14 December 2013 with prices starting from £25.49*. Lyon has magnificent mountains and alpine lakes and some of Europe’s most reliable snow making it a gateway to many popular ski resorts. It is also famed for its historical and architectural landmarks - as well as being the birthplace of cinema.
The airline will add a twice–weekly winter sun route to Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands from Newcastle International Airport from 6 November 2013 with prices available from as little £28.49*.
