easyJet has released traffic statistics for November 2017 revealing an increase of 8.1% in passenger numbers, flying 5.35 million passengers in November 17 compared to 4.95m passengers in November 16.  Load factor was also up 2.6ppts vs last year at 92.3%. This growth was supported by increased capacity of 5.1%. Passengers were up 10.3% on a rolling 12 month basis.

 

Over 34,000 easyJet flights were operated in November 2017. The most popular routes across Europe included Milan Malpensa to Amsterdam and Berlin Schönefeld to Basel, in addition to French domestic routes from Paris to Nice and Toulouse. International routes from the UK were also extremely popular, such as London Luton to Amsterdam, and London Gatwick to Barcelona. 

 

November was also a strong month for seat sales with easyJet putting over 14 million seats on sale for its Autumn 2018 schedule and also adding over 3000 seats on routes between the UK and Gibraltar in Winter 2017. 

 

easyJet continued to offer customers greater choice and value with the launch in November of a new airport transfer portal and the introducing new bag weight allowances, with hold bag prices now starting at just £8.99.
