The holiday firm proactively called all customers with holidays to and from Belfast due to travel in the next four weeks up to and including Friday November 13. Customers travelling from Belfast have the option of continuing with their trip as planned, or cancelling it and receiving the full amount back as easyJet holidays credit to make a future booking. Those due to take a holiday to Belfast can also cancel their trip for the full amount back as easyJet holidays credit or they can cancel for a full refund which will be returned to their original payment method within an average of 12 days.

For travel beyond these dates, easyJet holidays has offered reassurances that the situation will continue to be closely monitored.

Holidaymakers who are more than 28 days away from their holidays can rely on easyJet holidays’ industry leading  Protection Promise, and this is in addition to the holiday company’s set of Covid Commitments which were introduced earlier this year to ensure safety and flexibility for existing customers and those looking to book.

Matt Callaghan, easyJet holidays Customer Director, said “Nothing is more important to us than being able to make sure our customers have safe, comfortable and enjoyable holidays, so with this front of mind we acted quickly to contact our customers due to travel to and from Belfast, who are affected by the announcements to share the update and their options.

“We’ve been offering as much support as we can to our customers during these difficult times which is why we introduced a set of Covid Commitments to ensure peace of mind when booking with easyJet holidays.”
