easyJet announced today that it has struck a deal in Europe to further extend the airline’s offerings among corporate travellers through BCD Travel’s global network. The new partnership provides easyJet access to BCD Travel’s extensive corporate travel client base and makes it easier for the travel management company (TMC) to offer its corporate clients easyJet’s great services and value.

Commenting on the deal, Toby Joseph, European Sales Director for easyJet said:

“We’re absolutely delighted to sign this new partnership with BCD Travel in Europe. It’s yet another indication of the significant progress we have made developing our corporate travel services over the last couple of years. We look forward to welcoming many more of BCD Travel’s clients onboard our aircraft.

“The deal also underlines a great start to 2014 for easyJet, coming so soon after we secured the honour of “Best Short-haul Airline” at the 2014 Business Travel Awards.”

Operating in more than 97 countries globally, BCD Travel’s 11,000 creative, committed and experienced employees help companies accomplish more with the money they invest in travel. The privately held TMC offers a full range of corporate travel solutions to grow value for executives, procurement managers and business travellers.

“We’re pleased to be able to offer our corporate clients easyJet content and to help our new airline partner expand the channels through which travellers and travel arrangers may book its service,” said Thomas Stöckel, Senior Vice President of Supplier Relations for BCD Travel’s EMEA region.

“We think the corporate travel space represents a great opportunity to easyJet for growing its business. And easyJet offers great value to businesses looking for low cost options in Europe.”

Last year easyJet launched an Inclusive Fare for corporate passengers and travel bookers through GDS systems looking for easy, one-step transactions. The great value fare combines services important to corporate bookers, such as a bag and seat selection.
