“As the UK’s largest airline and operator of Europe’s number one air transport network, easyJet plays a key role as one of the area’s largest employers. We are proud to be based in Luton at the heart of a culturally rich and diverse community, and are pleased to offer easy and affordable access to Europe and beyond from London Luton Airport.”
“easyJet is a successful airline experiencing considerable growth across Europe, and we welcomed the opportunity to have Helen Nellis visit us to meet our people and see how the operation works first hand.”
Helen Nellis, HM Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire added:
“It has been fascinating to visit easyJet and to see behind the scenes of their impressive operation. Bedfordshire is a thriving and ambitious County, with an enviable geographic position. With its national and international links via London Luton Airport it is a great place to do business.
easyJet plays a vital part in developing opportunities for employment in the area as well as linking people from across the world into our region. It has been a pleasure to understand more about their vision for the future today.
