Here are the terms and conditions which will apply to your entry. Please read them carefully as they contain important information you need to know!
1. easyJet Airline Company Limited, Hangar 89, London Luton Airport, LU2 9PF (“easyJet”) is the promoter of the competition and prize.
2. This competition is open to legal residents of the United Kingdom to people aged 18 or over, except if you (or your immediate family) are employees of easyJet or its affiliated companies.
3. The competition will be open from 11:00 on Monday 5th December 2022 to 00:59 on Friday 9th December 2022 (the “Competition Period”). Entries must be received before 00:59 on Friday 9th December 2022. By submitting an entry, you are accepting these terms and conditions.
4. easyJet reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of an anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the easyJet’s control. Any changes to the competition will be published on easyJet’s official Instagram page (@easyjet) and on this page.
5. These terms are governed by the laws of England and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
6. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram. You understand that you are providing your information to easyJet and not to Instagram, and you completely release Instagram from any claims in relation to this competition.
How to enter and prize details
7. easyJet will be sharing a post with the competition details on Instagram at 11:00 on Monday 5th December 2022. All you need to do is ‘like’ the post and tag one friend who you would take with you if you won the pair of flights to enter.
9. You can only enter once - Your entry is received at the time easyJet receives notification of comment. Incomplete, invalid or entries received after the competition has closed will not be accepted. If your entry gets lost in cyberspace or doesn’t arrive for any other reason, that’s not easyJet’s fault.
10. One winner will receive: a pair of return easyJet flights to anywhere in our network (subject to availability), one return flight for them and one for a friend or relative, with an approximate retail value of £500. The prize value is accurate at the start of the competition. The flights are to be booked together by contacting social@easyjet.com and detailing the flight details chosen by the winner. Location and dates are subject to availability and any travel restrictions. The return flights will include one small cabin bag (max 45x36x20cm), extra legroom seats and a large cabin bag (max 56 x 45 x 25cm) per each passenger.
How is the winner chosen? 11. Rather than consulting tea leaves, the winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries by a random generator.
12. The random draw will happen during the week commencing Monday 12th December 2022. No correspondence will be entered into, even if you think that the result sucks.
13. We’ll give the winner the good news by contacting them via Instagram private message. If you’re riddled with curiosity, you can send an email to Social@easyjet.com (including the name of the promotion) within 3 months of the Competition Date, and we’ll respond and tell you who won.
14. easyJet will do its best to find the winner. But if we can’t, or if the winner hasn’t accepted the prize by 1st January 2023, another eligible entry will be selected from the original competition post and declared the winner. If you do win
15. We will contact you via private message on Instagram. You must contact us using the details provided and accept the prize by 1st January 2023 otherwise we reserve the right to select another winner.
16. We may ask you to provide proof of identity, residency and age, so that we are sure you are who you say you are, and are eligible to receive the prize.
17. You can’t exchange the prize for cash, or ask us to give it to someone else (not that you’d want to!). We will use reasonable efforts to award the prize as described but if due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to do that, we’ll substitute it for another prize of equal or higher value.
18. You’ll be responsible for all taxes, insurance and any other expenses, fees and costs connected with the use of the prize that are not included in the prize description.
19. If, in order to take the prize, you and your plus one are lucky enough to need a valid passport and/or other necessary travel documentation and visas, you’ll need to sort those out for yourself.
20. You are responsible for your use of the prize, including complying with any applicable terms and conditions of use. Of course, if you win a prize, you’ll be good and comply with all relevant laws, rules and regulations. easyJet reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct.

22. The nature of the prize may be such that it poses health or safety risks, or risks normally associated with travel to you (and if applicable, to your guest). You should consider any health, safety and travel risks and take appropriate precautions (including arrange insurances) to guard against those risks. Insofar as permitted by law, easyJet, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of easyJet. Your statutory rights are not affected. What happens to my entry?
23. easyJet will only use the personal information provided to us during the course of this promotion to conduct the promotion and award the prize. If you win a prize, easyJet can use your name for future marketing purposes unless you tell us not to.
